The Des Moines office of the National Weather Service says that strong to severe storms are forecast this evening. Storms will develop west of Iowa and move across into western Iowa. As the storms move further eastward into Iowa, they will weaken. Some areas east of I-35 may not see any rain until after sunrise Friday.
